Swarm Hackathon

On the USS Hornet Aircraft Carrier

Perforce Swarm is a totally moddable collaboration and review tool for coder teams. Join us for 24 hours on a real-life aircraft carrier creating a collection of killer mods. If you demo a hack, you'll get prize--a good prize.

If you can write a little PHP, Javascript, or whatever, you can pretty much make Swarm be and do anything you want.

We'll have FREE food, swag, drinks, entertainment, and whatever else it takes to keep you hacking through the night and into the day. There’s even real sailors’ quarters for naps.

More on Swarm:

Swarm’s built on what we like to call the LAPP stack (that’s like the LAMP stack, but with Perforce instead of MySQL). Swarm is loaded with open source bits, and you get all the source.

All Swarm users are coders, and every user can improve the Swarm experience bit by bit, or by leaps and bounds. Don’t like how Swarm looks, or feels, or acts? Change it! Plop in your own PHP mod, and now Swarm is as you wish it to be. Integrate your Twitter feed into Swarm? Go. Do it. You have the power.
